To wear or not to wear?

Many believe that not wearing bra’s make your breast sag, this is not the case. Rather according to a French study by Professor Rouillon, no bras = perkier boobs. How does this make sense? Well imagine sitting all day long and never moving will your muscles become stronger or more flabby and loose? Breast tissue is just like any other tissue in the body. It needs to be challenged and strengthened either through food or use. If you pull your tooth out and don’t put an implant eventually our gums will recede since a tooth is not there to challenge the gums to build new tissue and grow. Researchers did a 15- year study on 330 women and found that:

  • Wearing a bra from an early age did nothing to help support the chest, reduce back pain or prevent breast sagging. Medically, physiologically, anatomically – breasts gain no benefit from being denied gravity. On the contrary, they get saggier with a bra.
  • Young women would gain more tone and supporting breast tissue if no bra were used. women that stopped wearing bras – through choice, not as a requirement of the study – had a 7-millimeter (0.3-inch) lift in their nipples when compared with regular bra users.
  • Bras, they claim, could hamper circulation and reduce breast tone over time.
  • Not wearing a bra will lead to increased collagen production and elasticity, which improves lift in a developing breast

So what is the lesson?

It is not always a good time to go braless, such as in the professional world it might seem a tiny bit unmodest. Knowing when you can filter out a bra is important. If you are going out to movies with friends and are wearing something that covers your breast why even bother. I love my babes natural and organic just like our marine collagen.
